Here are some cool links for the week. If there are websites or blog posts you feel should be considered for a "cool link", please send me an e-mail at happinessisbetter [at] gmail dot com.

Save $1000 Dollars in 30 Day Challenge by Ramit at I Will Teach You to Be Rich – I’m glad to see something like this appear. Perhaps this will encourage people to save a little bit of money especially as the economy is not exactly running on all cylinders.

iKnow – This website comes to us from Japan. It’s a language learning website. Currently, it helps you learn Japanese, but it’s not limited to any language. Here is a blurb from their website:

iKnow’s patented learning algorithms generate a personalized learning schedule based on your learning history. What this means is that items you’re having trouble with will come up for review far more frequently than items you know well. It’s like having your own private teacher who knows what you need to focus on.

101 Useful Resources for Entrepreneurs by Blogtrepreneur – A good list of resources and a few websites I hadn’t heard about prior to this article.

Entrepreneurial Lifestyle: 10 Reasons Why You Should Never Get a Job by Circle One Connect – This is a commentary of the extremely popular article by Steve Pavlina, 10 Reasons You Should Never Get a Job.

Best and Worst Bang for The Buck Cities by Adha Bhattarai at Forbes – This is definitely a resource to use if you are considering moving to a different city. Notice the best bang for the buck city is Austin, TX. Note: I graduated from UT Austin so I’m partial to Austin :).

Our New Bookstore is the Library by J.D. Roth at Get Rich Slowly – My wife and I have actually adopted this mentality. I’ve had a pretty good experience so far. I’d also like to mention that a few of the books I’ve checked out from the library were quickly returned and really glad they were not purchased since I did not enjoy them. We’ve also implemented using which I highly suggest.

Hi there,

My name is Andy Lynch and I’m actually working with Ramit from at the moment, and he pointed me to this post.

Couple of things I wanted to ask you:

1. Ramit just put out a private video on automating your finances and we wanted to send it to you as a thank-you.

2. His new book is coming out, and for the people who pre-order the book (it’s about $10) in the next few days, you’ll get 6 chapters by PDF before anyone else, plus entry into a private community with premium content. Can I send you some more info and the link to the video? If yes, please drop me a line as soon as possible —
